Go back in time and meet yourself as a youngster what advice would you give

I would probably give myself a good shake and tell me to study hard and DON'T START SMOKING!!!!!

Carry on the way you are going you'll be okay I am a contented soul aren't I?


Oh yes and I'd say in June 1984 don't spend all your money before you get to Rhodes airport because you'll be delayed for 12 hours with no money for a drink .

i would tell myself to value certain people more, and not to agree to have an operation done oh and stop myself from doing something very, very silly, but as its impossible to do so why wish about doing something we can't do

Stick with dogs instead of kids

Do not smoke or drink too much - you are not invincible despite how you feel
Study your butt off then you won't have to go back and do it later
Be unique and comfortable in yourself cos you are great - don't follow the crowd
Life does not have to be lived to the full by the time you are 20 - there are another 60 years (at least) to do it in
Odler people are not saps - some of them are actually more intelligent and fitter than you are. You will find out when you get there ...
Doing drugs really isn't clever - look at any 40 odd year old addict and see how awful their poor lives are - if they live that long. It isn't glamorous, no matter how the tv makes it look.
At 15 you may think it's cool to die by the time you're 30 if you've lived life to the full but when you're 30 you're glad you didn't ... cos life can be great at any age
Stand up for your beliefs, don't be led by the nose, respect people around you.

It's always sad to read these but totally understand the thinking behind it.

Not to take rejection to heart - as confidence in oneself and forgiveness of others would be easier to master

For me to take no notice of my strict controlling police officer of a father to hinder my every move. I grew up a scared & nervous child who was bullied by both my father & others.
I grew up very shy, introverted & distrustful of people.
Now I'm bolshy & defendant but, have a huge heart with a lot of heartache to match.
I became a foster mum & adopted my children, dont have any of my own biologically.Wish to me I had taken a different path of trying for children before I had cancer.
