"Track your package"

Has anyone any experience with this with Royal Mail?
I paid next day delivery on an item from Amazon, should have come Friday. No luck but I thought well it's Christmas, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
I tracked it and it was supposedly in our local sorting office.
Just tracked it again and it says it was delivered at 6-52 this morning Nooooo, I was here and I was up.
Where is my digital radio/cd player?

I can't find a number. I think when we go out we will drive around that way.

That's bad. I have tracked Royal mail before and not had any problems but it wasn't Christmas time.
Michael has ordered a present for Gorden 2 weeks ago that hasn't arrived and we are not sure who is delivering it. There is no tracking and its coming from Europe.

Hi Nippy it may have been picked up at that time and could be on its way and with you later.

I buy a lot of stuff online delivered by various companies and I get all sorts of odd tracking results.

First things first... a digital radio/CD player? I still have mine from 2004 but I'd NEVER, EVER buy one now and I don't use the old one I have even a little bit at all ever. Nippy, you just keep strengthening my stance on how older people baffle me.

In other news, Amazon has been acting weird for me, as well. I had ordered a tablet, and it was supposed to be here before Christmas, this Tuesday but they didn't ship anything in 4 days, the item just sat there as ordered.

I emailed and complained that there was no way it would arrive before Christmas now and that I was going to be LIVID if it didn't and they used Sunday shipping and paid for overnight to ensure it'll arrive today because it was their mistake for the delay.

One GREAT thing about Amazon is that if there is a problem, they usually fix it right off. So contact Amazon and let them know you never got the item but it was marked as delivered. Perhaps a look at the tracking will help find the mis-delivered item.

Lol Lacey and Myra

Right I accosted the regular postman when he came. He says the sorting office is piled high with packages because of the problems Yodel have been having. Apparently Royal Mail have taken on all their deliveries. He reckons it will be delivered today. I'm pleased about this but still cross that it hasn't been delivered in the specified time.

Yodel I have found is first in the useless race. If I get a choice I would select any delivery option than one under the yodel banner.

Even Santa Clause has a better delivery service albeit once a year.
