All mine has been brought up around kids , Though they end to be pretty over boisterous around them when in doors , But outside they are fab with kids and love nothing more than loads of cuddles and pats when out walking xxdk

Red adores children, if he sees kids while out walking he pulls towards them waging his tail while jumping on two legs.

Looks like I'm the only one to answer No Ozzie hates children - he's petrified of them - gives them a real wide birth - if he feels trapped by one he growls - it's a nightmare! I've tried, I really have! Where as Petto just loves anyone including children!

Any tips regarding Ozzie and children would be greatly appreciated!

No! They're both good with kids but neither particularly like them.

Eddy tolerates them well and is quite comfortable with them in general but I remember my aunt bringing her grand daughter over and after I'd kept stopping the little girl from going upto Eddy while he was in bed (he's 13, arthritic, can't see that well and has never been around kids so I was keeping her away from his bed) she was allowed to go up to him while I was out of the room (my aunt and mum were supervising) and Eddy was told off for growling I was very angry!

If they come up for a fuss and Takara's on the lead, she'll stand there and allow them to stroke her and take treats from them gently et al - so she's good with them, but if she's off the lead, she just stays well away from them. If they scream she runs away from them and always gives them a wide berth if she can!

She had a lot of socialisation with them, right from being about 9 weeks she went to the school with me (in my arms) to pick up my sister and met loads of kids, but they always ran at her screeching 'dalmatiaaaaan' so I'm not surprised she stays away if she can help it!!

She's very gentle but is quite perturbed if they come to our house and she's got to stay in close proximity!

Roxy's fine with kids - lets them make a fuss of her etc, Lennon and Mya are very nervous around them - they're just too noisy for them.....

Loves them - he even sits in the house with his face between the blinds wiggling away as he watches them playing outside

You just have to watch he isn't too exhuberant with them as he gets very excitable at this age! What he sees as giving a paw, a child would feel like it was a left hook!
