Spiders

never had a dog do this before, buster chases a spider, puts it in his mouth then sort of blows it back out, if it still moves he does it again and again, if it doesnt move he nudges it with his paw, its one of the funniest things my wife and i have ever seen . anyone one else had this

Our last dog used to pick them up and then fling them around the room. It was not pleasant! You never knew where they had gone, and they were BIG

My blade couldn't see a spider if it passed her now but when she could, she'd follow it really closely with her nose almost touching it. run along with it but if it turned she'd run the other way

Wish my dog ate them - not spiders because we don't really get those inside here (well I've never seen one) but ladybirds and any tiny flying bugs out on the verandah.

Bella picks them up ever so carefully and brings them inside to spit them out and watch them walking about.

I used to have a cat that did the same thing with frogs!

Chloe my Tibbie is great at catching flies. She sits very still and watches them closely waiting until they fly near enough for her to catch ... then snap ... into her mouth they go!

She's a better mouser than my cat ... she'll pursue them relentlessly until she can corner them ... the only trouble is, once caught she'll hide her "treasure" and I've even found one tucked under the duvet on my bed.

Ours would chase and eat them too

We've a couple of cats that case and lift and have spider legs dangling down each side of their mouths, that is really disconcerting.
