It wouldn't be normal not to think of the costs involved unless you are filthy rich.

I'm just glad that things look a little more positive for your girl now. Fingers crossed that she will go from strength to strength tonight and that your girl is back to her bouncy self and home with your tomorrow all fit and well again.

Glad to hear a bit of good news on your girl, let's hope she builds herself up overnight and you can have her back tomorrow. I'm sorry about the bill, but don't worry about it, you'll always find a way just like we all do at times. Please keep us informed and more positive vibes coming her way.

Just caught up with this scary news about Kym. So pleased you went with your instinct and took her back to the vet.

I hope she continues to improve overnight and can come home tomorrow.

I wonder if you vet will allow you to pay in instalments if you will struggle to pay such a big bill all at once?

Again thanks so much for your concern and good wishes its much appreciated

Kym is now home, i collected her this morning. She is much better but still has pretty bad dire rear. They have given me Royal Canin chicken and rice tinned food for the next couple days and then i am to go on to chicken and rice, then gradually phase in her usual food

Glad to have her home in her own surroundings and bed and her friend my other dog Bella, although they don't bother much with each other indoors i think Bella missed her when she wasn't here.

Hopefully she is on the way to recovery now. I have now taken out new insurance after faffing around with quotes for the last couple of months !! the bill was £400 - i haven't told my OH the whole amount !!!! Lesson learnt big time

Pleased to hear she's now back home and hope she does well once you've got rid of that diarreah, all the best with her now.
