Is sage dangerous?

My dogs have all been ill today ad over night. It always seems to happen on a sunday night and Monday. I have been going through what they have on a weekend. On sunday night they have the gavy from sunday tea and small amount of stuffing. This has sage in could it be ths that makes them so loose?

Mmm never heard of sage being a problem, although if it is sage and onion stuffing, then that could be the issue, as onion is poisonous to dogs.

it could be the cereal as well - cornflour in gravy and breadcrumbs in stuffing.

Hi VV sage is ok in small amounts, obviously I wouldn't give a dog a lot but I do add herbs including sage to home made dog food .

Thank all for your replies. The worst seems to have passed. If go home to clean house today it will be the final proof. Still not sure what caused it but from now on only boring dog food, they hate me.

You could give the gravy or the stuffing one time each to see whether either causes the problem.

or you could leave them a wee bit of the meat and veg without gravy/stuffing if you wanted to give them a treat.
