Trumpeter Swans Thursday 7th December 2023

Morning all. Yep I have now been sent 7 Trumpeter Swans. So they now have a seperate pond in the mansion grounds for swimming in. All water places have secure fencing round them to save any accidents with visiting children. Safety comes first unless the wilderbeest take offence to the little horrors. Sorry little angels with their trumpets. Anyway before I completely lose it: Have a great day everyone. My hair is to short but my sister asked if I could still swish and yep just about.

Good morning Brenda. Pleased toes you have cover all safety measures in your grounds

I dong know what happened earlier but my reply is somewhere in the cosmos

Dull here but dry. Teazle was really happy on her walk today so we did the longer one. She is now sitting next to me tapping her foot for her dinner whilst I try to drink my coffee

Take care everyone

Morning brenda, Sue and all to follow.
Frost and slippery conditions are gone for now, raining now on and off.
Wow the wind is cold though.
We got Brewster out for a short walk this morning we did the lead each and attached it to his collar and harness it worked really well.
We will take him out again around 12pm.

It was lovely meeting up with Elaine yesterday we had coffee and cake her treat and after a wander around the garden centre and then sat and talked for over 3 hours and one more hot drink.
She bought me a lovely Christmas cactus because of having such a horrible time with Brewster.

Lovely swans brenda I love swans from a distance. Glad the safety barriers are up.
Sue pleased you had a nice walk with Rosie. Has she had her lunch yet ?
Chris I am glad to read Dave seems better, I hope he is feeling even better today and you have enjoyed your morning out.
griff I hope you are ok today.
Kazz have a lovely day whatever you do.

Pleased to hear about Brewster. I have been to see the colliex called Church and been asked to mind him in a couple of weeks time. Raining again (sigh). Have a good afternoon everyone. Lynn the swans are for you. The snow leopard was Sue's. Now who else would like a creature to stay at Tyto's Manor?

Hm doubt I will have to walk Church far as he is having mobility issues with a hip being wonky and if it is raining then definitely no as he has a very thick furry coat. It is still raining.

Good evening all

I think I broke myself this morning. I stupidly went shopping in town which, without the mobility scooter, has nearly killed me. Breathing bad and now limping. Nevertheless, I did manage to get everything I went for so it's over with now

Chucking it down hence the trip to town rather that going for breakfast

Ted has been stuck to me like glue since I got home. I think he missed me
