Are there more doodles than poodles ..

Are there now more poodle crosses than pure poodles??

Hmmm. Interesting question.

In 2010 these were the KC registration figures for Poodles:
Standard: 1,037
Miniature: 945
Toy: 1,476
------------------
Total: 3,458
(actually a very small increase from the previous year).

However it's not possible to see records from the Activity register, which is where the Doodles are registered, so there's no way of knowing for sure.

I have a miniature poodle .People are always coming up to me and saying that they never see a poodle these days .
There are plenty of doodles but Fern is the only poodle in the village

There are 2 standards, and 3 minature poodles within a 4 mile radius of our house that I have seen in the last 6 months, and there were 8 poodle x alone these last 2/3 weeks at work!

I was judging at the weekend and I met a Poodle x ASD, not sure what it would be called for marketing purposes.
