Tidal Wave Heading For East Anglia!

Just watching the latest on Sky news, and there's a 3 metre high tidal wave heading for East Anglia, Norfolk area. They are advising people who live in bungalows not to go to bed tonight, coz they don't know quite what will happen!!!!!!!

I suggest you go on your Flood Alert site and check it out for further details, I just wanted to warn anyone in that area!!!

Apparently, they're expecting to have mass evacuations, and it sounds very much like what happened in the 50's in that area!!! I'm worried for Steve on here coz he lives in East Anglia I hope he's tuned in to the news tonight!

The worst time will be overnight, because of the spring tides, the strong winds and this massive tidal wave, it all sounds pretty horrendous.

I got these phone numbers from Sky news:

0845 988 1188
and the website to check up on:
www.environment-agency.gov.com

Please if you live in that area, they are advising you NOT to go to bed tonight, they are expecting a lot of deaths they just said, this is pretty darn serious I think!!!!
Stay safe as you can!

I have heard that the maximum risk time for flooding will be at 7 a.m. I have just watched the news, they did mention the flood risk but heard no mention of a tidal wave. The flood risk is due to the gale force winds linked with high tide.

To all in the area, there is a helpline floodline number , stay safe everyone.

The tidal wave was mentioned when I was watching BBC news 24 and they were in Parliament. An MP actually said THERE IS A 3 METRE SWELL OF WATER HEADING FOR EAST ANGLIA (is that a tidal wave??? It is to me!!!!!) He said it is going to get bigger and they need to take action, and that's when I changed over to Sky News.

The normal news isn't so "big" on it, you have to watch Sky News where they are having a big thing about it!!!!! Normal news is too busy telling us about Iraq and other things going on in the rest of the World as per usual!!!!!!!
