If you won the lottery tonight

Hi, just been sitting thinking of what I would do tonight if I won the lottery, Firstly I think I would check the numbers a few times to make sure that I hadn't made a mistake. Then sit there a quivering wreck! Phone my friend who walks Blackie and say to him "I think I've won the lottery" and stay stock still till I could get confirmation of the win.

I don't think I would want to do anything until the cheque was actually in the bank and being cleared.

What would you do?

Ian

Check again and again and again.

call my mum...

And when I had the check... I would move. Buy a house, with room for many dogs, somewhere nice, get a car, pay my debt in the bank and quit my job!!!!

And get another dog.

I would put the ticket somewhere safe then I would start looking for property where I could have loads of land and open a sanctuary for animals - and make sure my family got some of it as well

I'd re-check the numbers,then again and again!

Then put the ticket in a very safe place...

Then once it was all finalised-distribute half of it with my family. With the remainder,i would pay off my mortgage (im happy where i live),splash out on a new car, renovate bits of house and wont turn up for work monday!

After I had it in the bank I would pay off three of my friends mortgaes(sp) (Brain not working ) because they are nearly paid off anyway. But one of them I would have strings attached - the man of the house needs to get some treatment for a very bad temper and jealousy combined with greed.

I wouldn't move either just buy the house off the Council, do it up a bit and just enjoy life.
