Update on my swimming.....

It's going really well, I haven't chickened out.

The second week one woman walked out saying it was like being in school being told what to do..... well how they were supposed to teach us without telling us I don't know?
The older man who keeps going under left before the end too. He said he could swim at the first lesson but didn't like going under and that was all he seemed to do.
Then a new lady arrived and a new man who can swim even less than me!

Last week, the third week, we did breast stroke, which I have never done in my life and it was brilliant. The others said I am the best! Which amazes me. I still use either the woggle or a float but at least I am actually moving in the water now (couldn't get the kicking sorted at all in the crawl) and I'm the only who leaves totally wet, hair face and all.

Three weeks left to go.

Good on you, Becky. I'm so pleased you kept it up.

It could save your life one day, and apart from that, it can be such a lot of fun too!

what a star you are, Becky

Do you get a certificate or a gold ribbon at the end of the course ?
If not I think we should make you one - or maybe write an ode to your swimming experience...
