Iams/Eukanuba recall as at least 10 dogs die of Kidney failure (3 threads merged).

Hi,
Micheal was on one of his woodturning sites and found this link.
http://www.menufoods.com/recall/product_dog.html
I don't recognise any of the brands but thought I would post just incase anyone else does.

That's really bad but the wet food wasn't actually made by Iams & a lot of other foods made by Menu have been recalled as well

When I had a cat I once found a huge lump of something nasty in a tin of Whiskas, it had discoloured the whole can Obviously I got in touch with the local Environmental people, but I always wondered if it had contaminated other cans as well

This is in the US as well, Iams & Eukanuba foods sold over here in the UK are manufactured in Europe (I think it's Belgium off the top of my head!!!) so unlikely to be affected by this.

Here it is - it only affects certain products in US & Canada, and is a voluntary recall as the products are made by the same company that made the faulty products, not because Iams/Eukanuba products caused kidney failure

How tragic is that? People think they are buying the best for their pets and it kills them. How awful fo the owners of these poor dear pets!
