Fair comment about them not knowing what it is - but I've yet to meet a vet who wasn't in it for the money lol Yes, they care about animals, you'd have to in their profession, but their wallets are never in danger of being empty are they?

FWIW I would definitely give the Thornit a try. I don't see you've anything to lose really Though Vets are great (on the whole) they don't know everything
