Evening all - looks like all the usual suspects are watching Bott and Scaley. Once again the airwaves are awash with the sound of silence. Question: What do you get if you leave a lurcher pup and a young terrier in your 4x4 - unsupervised - on Sainsbury,s Car Park on a Wednesday evening. Answer: Total Blerdy carnage the little sods destroyed everything they could get their teeth into. From the steering wheel cover to the upholstery and the contents of map pockets and somehow even got into the glove compartment which they emptied and then proceeded to destroy everything. All this in around 10 minutes. Serves me right - should have known better! Not as if they are my first dogs! I had been lulled into a false sense of security by the apparently tractable nature of my new aquisition. Won,t happen again - next time they will be in the back behind the dog-guard. They were left, sat on fat fluffy blankets with no less than 9 toys and bones to keep them occupied. But no they had to do a little bit of interior re-designing.Oh Well! it's only money! Sob!!!!!!

Cariad once ate my car, Gordon. Deepest sympathy to you, she even chewed through the seatbelts.

I always tell people with destructive dogs that a lot of it stems from them not having enough excercise - my by-word being "a tired dog is a good dog". May have to rethink this as those two rascals had clocked up over 5 hours excercise each prior to their vandalism trick. Should have just gone to sleep - but no!!!!!
