Marley, female Parsons Jack Russell Terrier, DOB 01.10 - Stanford Le Hope, Essex


Homing Requirements: Marley needs a family who understand terriers and aren't going to use pinning down techniques or confrontation as her trust with humans can easily be affected. Marley maybe able to live with another dog as long as its a terrier bitch as she can have her moments. Lives with 2 cats. Not for children. Needs a terrier proof garden.

Her Story: Marley was rescued as a 7 month old pup to live with another dog of similar age and 2 cats. Dealing with her terrier ways her male owner used pinning techniques which he now appreciates is the wrong method for terriers and broke the trust between them. There is a baby on the way which has further prompted the need to find the right home for Marley. She is neutered, vax'd and in her home in Stanford Le Hope, Essex.

Advert: Marley is such a gem. She needs reassurance, guiding and an affirmation approach to achieve her trust and maintain it as we think she was either born sensitive or has not had the correct care in her early months before she was rescued by her current family. She is trained to commands. She needs to keep her relationships open and not cling and protect one, so the first few days will be important in sharing/-+care, walks etc. Another dog will help her attune into her canine ways and avoid over focus on human approval. She loves to play ball and Frisbee.

Marley is a white, bright and light little girl. A Parson's Jack Russell with a little Miss Terrier way about her, which needs to be loved and appreciated as she aims to entertain. Wary of people so needs to be initially ignored and for her to make the approach, then treats gently offered brings friendship! Lovely girl who needs stability and an undemanding family.
