Horribly some people have actually used an electric collar on their children

Apologies to those who are now glazed but just wanted to make sure Clod sees this again.

Just a quick question, how many people have actually seen dogs wearing e-collars?

It would have been much cheaper to buy a tens machine or 2 bare wires from the mains, or maybe sparklers in the face.

the point i was trying to make with tob being a working pat dog is that i have trained him to that standard without needing or using an e collar.
my size ratio was to show how big and strong he is compaired to me as the handler and if i haven't got control over my dog they would never allow him in there with me.
i thought this thread was about methods of training and the levels that can be gained with different methods.
lol leo's are dogs and act as such the comment about them being laid back yes when they are trained and adults but ask any leo owner on this board how easy they are to train when they are the size of a medium breed at just a few months old.
you are dealing with a dog with power and size who acts like any pup of the same age.

well that just highlights your point of view..... so you think physically abused children is some thing fit to make a joke off.

Not much point in directing anything sensible your way Denis.

The question is quite sensible though. If this particular item is so popular, then I assume everyone must have seen many dogs that wear them?

Strange though, because I've not come across one yet.
