Need help identifying rescue puppy breed!

Hi everyone,

I adopted a puppy recently and I really have no idea what kind of mix she is. She was found in a box on the side of the road with three of her siblings (all of whom have found homes, thankfully!)

The organization I adopted her from said they assumed both of her parents were also mixes, so it is difficult to identify which breeds she could be.

I live in Budapest (Hungary) and the vet suggested she looked like she could be a Mudi mix of some sort. Mudis are a rare Hungarian breed and I can certainly see some of that in her (shape of head, ears, legs, and her general temperament).

But I am wondering what other dog owners and experts think...

I don't care at all how she turns out because I adore her -- I am literally just really interested in any other opinions on her breed makeup!

If it helps, the vet also suggested her adult weight will be about 10-12kg. She is 6kg now at 17 weeks. She is a kind of cinnamon color and her brothers and sisters were a mix of black and tan.

Thanks for any insight!

Danielle

Nope, it doesn't matter at all, I'm just interested to see what people think!

People often give wildly different answers for crosses. All sorts of traits can pop up that you normally wouldn't expect from either parent or any breeds involved so unless they really match one purebred parent or the other it usually just turns into a bunch of random guesses based on the breeds the person knows the best. Better to just accept the mystery of your happy mutt.
