Dog/s feeding time

While Little One, who was fed once a day at approximately the same time each day, Pereg, who is fed twice a day, has her meals when she asks for them and not at specific times. It seems to suit her better and as I am home all day it is easy not to have to stick to a timetable.

So I was wondering how other people feed their dogs, whether at specific times, when it suits you, or when the dog/s ask for it.

3 times a day. between 5am to 530am , noon and between 630pm to 7pm. down for 30 mins then picked up.

Know a lot that free feed, but Mastiffs are prone to bloat, and over weight as a pup is extremely hard on a mastiff's joints.

Same time/s every day here - they're very used to the routine now.

Cava is fed twice a day as are the cats. Roughly at same time but not set in stone if I'm out or forget to give him his tablet which he has to have 30minutes before a meal

It used to be roughly the same time each day - but will plenty of healthy 'scraps' in between

Gwylim gets two meals a day. A small one in the morning and a larger meal around 5.30/6 in the afternoon.

Georgina has one meal a day, at the same time in the afternoon as Gwylim. If she doesn't finish it at one go I pick up her dish to stop Gwylim scoffing the food. I usually put it down for her to finish later in the evening when little bruv is fast asleep on the sofa.

He has his dinner about the same time everynight ..... but other things change ( breakfast, snacks) depending on what we are doing .... if we are going to my dads i don't feed him first because he will get treats there !

I voted when it is convenient to me. It is roughly the same time, twice a day though.

I'm a shift worker which makes it difficult to feed at the same time every day. They are fed twice a day - small breakfast in the morning at either 5 am or 8am and then a full meal at around 6pm. If I worked normal hours, the times would be approximately the same time each day. They seem to be happy with this and are doing well on it.

Mine are all free fed except for Rita. She gets fed whenever she feels like eating. I offer her food and if she rejects it I offer it again later until she's ready to eat.
