£1 a day

Yesterday started my £1 a day jar.

I will explain put a quid a day in a jar and then use the money for Christmas food etc next year add a little more sometimes if I claim petrol from work or something like that...works wonders seriously even if only a £1 a day thats £360+

It sounds like a really good idea. My problem would be not dipping in to it on the mornings when the kids announce that they need money for school!!!lol

Put it in a glass jar that you seal the top of in some way....that way you have to smash it to get to the money...

Great idea last year, after going shopping every week, I emptied all the coins from my purse into a jar, then put it through one of those coin sorting machines at the supermarket when I went to do my Christmas shop, and I had £70, ok, I know it wasn't an earth shattering amount, but it was £70 extra I had

Thats a great idea cause you are not going to miss that £1 a day and it soon mounts up.
