Hi all,
Probably my own fault too but my dad orders us some bacca,as we find it hard to get where we live,we were going up to his house on saturday but the weather was bad in the midlands and hubby's got the flu,so i said i would post the money could he post bacca,sorted.
Money was delivered by recorded delivery this morning,spoke to my stepmom tonite she said the money was there apart from the five pounds postage money i had enclosed 2 two pounds and 1 one pound coin
Aparently there was a slit in the envelope at one end and somebody has pinched it
Ok it was only £5 but it's the principle of the thing,learn't my lesson no more money in the post!

Post office or royal mail won't do a thing if you send money - they do state if you are going to send money, it should be sent special delivery - as this is hand carried.
Recorded, is treated the same as first class - going through the machinary, and stuffed in a bag etc.

Thanks hevvur i know it's my own fault next time i'll send a postal order and use special delivery.

i put some money in some cards one christmas and the card arrived but no cash we have had cds go missing,once had a load of photos go missing so i claimed the money back to have the photos re-done and got the cash

Never had anything happen like this before
