Have a Citroen Dispatch...may be a little large for what you want - but I love it.

Has no back windows but a great parking sensor (its an 05 reg)

I find it quite easy...so would say 8-9

I have Peugeot Expert and it isn't a problem for parking but do bear in mind that unless you get one with rear passenger windows it can be really difficult to see when you are coming out of a junction at an angle

Rather than have 2 levels of cages I have 2 cages on a shelf which gives storage space underneath and the old boy has his own cage in the middle

I have a Renault Scenic and have 2 large dogs and a medium. They fit in ok but it is a bit of a squash for long journeys and my next motor will be a van. Ideally i'd like something with at least 3 cages so each dog has their own space and I can safely take one dog out without the other 2 trying to escape.

I dont have any kids myself so having a van wouldnt bother me. However, I do occassionally have my nephews and mum in the car and a van would mean no room for kids!

I used to drive a huge panel van for a living (LWB Sprinter size) so can park anything. In fact, I used to be able to park it better than my car and my car has rear sensors, the van didnt!

A word of warning, Peugeot Partners tend to be non turbos (we have some as work vans) and they are awfully slow and it becomes embarrassing! Dont expect to get anywhere quick!

Just as a warning for anyone who travels with dogs my friend had a peugeot 305 van with a dog guard. Last saturday she was involved in a terrible car accident. The van turned over and over and the back door flew open throwing the dogs out. Thankfully my friend is going to be ok. One of the dogs was alright, another went missing for a few hours but we found him unhurt. The other dog is at the vets with a broken pelvis. They are all lucky to be alive.

I have a Ford Escort and it's very easy to park. Previously I had a Nissan X-Trail, even easier to park. Pathfinders are also pretty good for space.

I'm eyeing up those vans with the crates - how much did it cost to kit the vans out with crates?
