stinky bruno and his unpleasant wind problem !!!!

Hi

hope that got ur attention - anyone got a smelly staffie like mine

i know they are quite renowned for their wind issues - but Bruno is vile - particularly when excited ( like when we have friends round) he drops the fart and then leaves you in the room to deal with the aftermath which is absolutely raw - you can practically see it !!!!

Anyone any usggestions ? We have tried changing his diet and the only thing that makes a slight difference is really limiting the amoutn of food he gets but then he wanders about in the huff licking the kitchen floor like he is starving !!!!

any hints or tips for my farty dog ???

dani

unfortunately not much of an option as in the middle of building an extension so garden is out of bounds - but its more when he does it in the car - no escape !!!!! LOL

if you find anything let me know as I have a smelly boxer who can empty a room in seconds. She leaves first of course and leaves us with the smell

hi - have tried the charcoal biscuits - he wont eat nearly as many of them as the rich teas he eats !!

He just chews on them and spits it all back out again - little pig that he is !!!

It is disgusting - but so far havent managed to find a solution - at least hubby as someone to blame it on now !!

Hi there, If you feed Burns you don't get that problem It is a holistic dog food with no additives, not tested on animals and seems to prevent wind, also no bad breath I feed Venison/rice and Kelties and some fresh veg If you contact them they will send samples.

Was going to say change his food to something with less or no cereal in it, rice is ok. Also watch the veg and only serve them well pulped or not at all.
