News website Ananova has reported that a Norwegian police dog let two kids who had broken into a sweet factory get away after he got distracted by sweets.

Police received reports that intruders had entered the factory and sent German Shepard Varg in to track them. The five children who had broken in immediately surrendered to him without a fuss.

However, two of the kids decided to make a run for it and successfully got away, due to Varg’s sweet tooth! The escapees left a trail of sweets behind them, which proved too much of a temptation to the hardworking police dog – and he stopped to eat them, as well as others in the factory.

The two children are still at large, but Varg has recovered from his sweet binge. He is nine and a half years old and is nearing retirement, so will not face any disciplinary action.

..dont think Varg can have been very savage to let the kids in to begin with probably has no teeth from eating too many sweets
