I think I'm getting a cold.....

I've been feeling achey across my chest for a few days, been sniffing for two day, sniffs that my hayfever meds don't touch. My nose has gone all dry and I can smell the smell of cold (if yu know what I mean)..... and I'm getting a headache.

Oh pants.

I'm working allllllll weekend too.

Too many nights sat outside next to the firepit!?

Look on the bright side Becky, if it does turn into a stinking cold you definitely won't be working all week-end! You'll have to take a sicky methinks!

Oh I def can't go sick, already got one off, I couldn't do that to Louise on call.

Me thinks an early night, paracetamol and hot choc are calling.

Try and keep really hot Becky, try having a hot whisky, (I cant stomach it myself) but it helps to sweat it out of you.

Do you have any lemsips, something hot before bed and keep the bed clothes on even when you want to toss them off. You could try Bovril thats comforting I think but usually for a winter cold dunno why????

My favourite remedy when I've got a cold is: 1/4 mug of orange juice (straight from the orange if poss - if not then carton stuff will do), a teaspoon of honey in the mug, and top up with boiling water! Makes me feel so much better!

I hope you feel better soon, my cold remedy is hot Ribena, (or supermarket versions). Makes me feel all warm and relaxed, plus the vitamin C helps fight the cold. An early night and some painkillers should help too.

Well I'm feeling a bit better this morning. Was in bed at 9.45!
I had a big hot choc with a banana and paracetamol. More paracetamol this morning, and more now with my lunch.
