Thanks Cath. We're beginning to think that it's something about this time of year cause it's nearly a year since she had another bout of it. She's usually healthy as a horse so fingers crossed.

autumn is starting and bouts of gastorenteritis in dogs increase...think it's all the leaves lying round...stagnant water, that sort of thing. Hope she's feeling better and starts drinking soon. Could be worth asking the vet for some probiotics to get her tum settled...

Sorry to hear about poor Cassie today Hope the vet sorts her out with some anti-biotics. If it's the same time of year again then it's probably something she's picked up, maybe from some sprays they've used somewhere you walk her? As Ailsa says, the dead leaves and stagnant water too!

If she won't even drink water, how about trying her with her favourite glass from the bathroom for a drink??!

I hope she's feeling better now anyway, poor little girl

Thanks for your kind words everyone. OH just rang to say everything went fine at the vets. Had to muzzle her to get her temperature taken and she managed to get the muzzle off again so she has perked up. He took a taxi to the vet but she's bright enough to walk home so they're walking back along the beach. She's not dehydrated and they reckon it's just something she's picked up. We have to starve her for 24 hours but they've given her probiotics that we have to syringe into her mouth...that should be fun!
Anyway, thanks again everyone for your support. OH and I both feel so much better now that she's been looked at
xx
