New Puppy

HELLO,

IM NEW TO THIS SITE SO JUST WANTED TO SAY HI TO EVERYONE!!,

WE JUST GOT A NEW PUPPY A BLACK LABRADOR CALLED BUSTER, ONLY THING IS WE CANT TAKE HIM HOME YET BECAUSE WERE WAITING FOR A COMPLETION DATE ON OUR HOUSE, WE ARE CURRENTLY LIVING WITH MY PARENTS BUT WITH TWO CATS LIVING THERE WHO DONT LIKE DOGS WE CANT TAKE HIM TO LIVE WITH US UNTILL WE GET OUR HOUSE.

MY PARTNER DAVE IS A BIT WORRIED THAT WE ARE GOING TO MISS THE VITAL PUPPY BONDING TIME, HE IS CURRENTLY 8 WEEKS OLD WE ARE HOPING TO GET A MOVING IN DATE IN 2 WEEKS FINGERS CROSSED

HAS ANYONE BEEN IN THE SAME SITUATION AND DID EVERYTHING TURN OUT OK?? ANY COMMENTS WELCOME

Hi and welcome to the forum from me and my Gang.

Good luck with your new puppy when you get him , if it isonly going to be a few weeks till you move in I would not worry tooo much about him usually puppies don't go to their new homes until they are about 10 weeks so another couple of weeks shoudn't make much difference. Do let us have some pictures when he arrives.

Thanks For Your Reply, Am Hoping The House Move Will Be 2 Weeks So Fingers Crossed Everything Should Be Ok, Will Put Some Pics On Soon, Cant Wait To Get Him Home!!

Ive Always Had Cats So Dogs Are Pretty New To Me I Am Trying To Do As Much Research As I Can Before He Comes Home, Another Thing Which Was Bothering Me Is Anxiety Seperation There Will Be Some Days When He Is Left On His Own Is This Going To Cause Too Much Stress??

Hi Diesel was 16 weeks when ew brought him home and he's been fine so I think that you're ok for a few weeks yet.
