Daily thread (Monday).

Well I am at stupid o'clock so thought I would put todays thread up and give Moyra a rest.
The reason I am up Gorden who thought he had a later start today found out by email late in the evening the meeting that had been postponed was now on so the meeting concerning one of his colleagues could be fitted in. Meeting starts at 9 am so he needed to be away by 6 am.
So of course we relaxed and had some wine and then wham. Well I was and am not a happy bunny. Was up most of the night too annoyed to sleep.
All this makes me re-evaluate the situation and pushes me further away more than I am already.
Anyway enough of my whingeing and whining.

Hoping everyone and doglets who are under the weather and have aches and pains are on the mend today.
griff are you having a blood test today to try to find out why you are so under the weather ? Hoping it goes ok and its a bug or virus.
Hope Brian's knee is still doing well Nippy Jen.
Hoping the back has responded to the hot bath and gel June.
Hoping the weather is giving you a rest now LG.

Thoughts with those poor people who are flooded out and just before Christmas.

Good morning Lynn, Oh what shame, poor Gorden and poor you having to get up that early anyway.

Very dark again this morning. Like you Lynn do feel for those poor souls up north who are suffering from the destruction of desmond.

Griff I hope all goes well today and they get to the bottom of your suffering.

June, hope things with you are better this morning, your poor back.

Norma, hope you are surviving up there too.

Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry, safe and well, God bless all.

Morning Moyra. Doesn't help an already difficult stressful way of living for us.
No choice though till hopefully a job comes up this way. Then we will have to work at putting our relationship back on the footing it was before all this.
Well I will it has changed me and it has changed Gorden too its frightening how far apart we are growing.
Still dark here too plus its been raining.

Morning Norma, Nippy Jen and brenda.
Thanks for the hugs.
brenda Gorden has been a teacher, deputy headteacher, managed a school improvement team in Lewisham and help set up gifted and talented there and healthy schools and excellence in cities. He was made redundant after 12 years when Cameron got in and made huge cuts in education.
Long story short took a long time to get another job age and too many people chasing same job by the time he got this job we had to sell our house and move away from family and friends too late to save the house and ironically he was back working in London but we had to move here so I am away from everyone I know and love and he has to work and live away 4-5 days a week. Its not a good situation for us.

Hows the weather for everyone ? Dull and wet here and very mild.
