I have always used the AVG free... its fab.. can't understand why people *pay* for an antivirus

hi lottie i also had norton, but twice i found a virus had got though, it got that bad that in the end i had to reinstall the windows xp from scratch, i wouldn't recomend norton to anyone now have avg and its free, had no probs since.

Another AVG user here. Used to use rubbish Norton - the last time my PC had to be reformatted was because Norton let 2 virus`s through - old ones at that which should have been picked up and dispatched easily. I`ll never ever use Norton again - AVG has so far been excellent.

I updated AVG a while ago and it only gives you a month free trial now. Not sure if you have to pay for it after that but it found 2 viruses on mine that I didn't know it had.

avast is good for getting rid of virus ect. plus adaware hunt n destroy.. but we dont suffer from the nastys. we run linux

I used to use AVG, I have norton at the moment as it came free with the PC. When it runs out I shall go back to AVG.
