Is there a way?

Is there a way of taking a picture from a video - does that sound daft?

Hi Sweep, do you mean halting it and doing a screengrab, or taking an actually photographic picture of your screen?

Yes no problem, but you need a PC that has a video edit programme so you can 'grab' a still and a programme that can adjust the acquired still to de-interlace. If you mean can you take a photo of a video you are showing on a TV, I don't know but I would doubt it you will probably get the same sort of banding you get if you photograph a TV screen.

Perfect Foxy if you have the dvd player with some players you can play the film up press pause, press the right mouse button, save image as, it works with most of the new DVD players, to do it fro TV the best way is with a capture card then you can take pictures from TV or vidieo moving or still much easer
