Which is more important? your vacation or a well settled in contented dog for the rest of its life?

The answer is a no brainer, dog first self second. Cancel vacation and arrange another with your new dog

I don't mean to seem harsh but taking ownership of a new dog abut a week before you go on a vacation you booked a long time ago does't seem to have been very thought out. Surely, neither can be a total surprise.....
