Enjoy your walk Mandy and now that you are feeling more human again after your excessive socialising Eileen I think a spot of outdoor activity will probably do you good

I've just got back having been out with the dogs again .... blooming chilly out there with the wind but at least the sun is out again. I shot out as soon as the Badminton coverage had ended. For those of you fellow horsey people, didn't Harry Meade do brilliantly (3rd) having only just started riding again after his horrendous fall last August. He proved everyone wrong who thought he'd never ride again let alone compete. He clearly has the same 'grit' as his Dad, Richard.

My youngest son is back and he thinks he is going to put an offer in on the lovely flat we saw yesterday, first thing tomorrow morning. I'm really happy about it but it had to be his decision and I didn't want to sway him either way ..... not my place.

OH hasn't phoned yet to say that he is on his way back from Devon so it will be late before he gets back here. I think he's going to be shattered.

I've almost finished combing through the dogs coats which I started this morning ..... so much hair

Dreadful weather here Jenny in the last few minutes. Torrential rain and hailstones also chilly.
Soon dries here we have very fine sandy type soil so it drains really quick.

I forgot to mention that this morning we walked another way with Dillon we have been this way before but we tend not to go this way too often. Dillon however decided it needed exploring who are we to argue otherwise.
This house we pass has now got horses in paddocks which Dillon would of loved to say hello but there is electric fencing and barbed wire and we didn't fancy either getting hurt. In the next field are 4-5 cows one has a young calf wondering if that was what all the mooing was about last week. It was feeding and mum was keeping her beady eye on us going past.
On the way back the calf wasn't feeding and mum came hurtling up the field towards the fence thank goodness there was a fence between us the calf was quite a way away and she patrolled the fence till she was happy we were no threat.
Convincing Dillon she didn't want to be friends was difficult.

Just had an email from Mark he has been offered 30 hours work a week from Lidl he had hoped for more and has now discovered they don't pay as much as he thought wages weren't discussed at interview but we have said to him its a job and foot in the door. He has to go back and see them on the 19th.
So hopefully he is on his way now.

I'm glad that Mark has heard from Lidl at last. I hope it leads to other things.

I guess that is better than nothing but I hope it is not one of those zero hour contracts. Good luck to him Lynn.

I don't think its a zero hours contract Moyra. (Hopefully).
Knowing our Mark he probably wouldn't of even bothered applying.
