I add a teaspoon into a big waterbowl each time I fill it. It is supposed to keep yeast infections at bay. Not sure if it works Its supposed to do something to the ph in the body I think. Although Finn's tear stains have almost disappeared since I started adding it to the water bowl.

I also use it for cleaning in between their paws. Again just a teaspoon in warm water.

Isla gets a tablet every day as it stops her burning the lawn when she pees!

It has loads of other benefits though, including speeding up the metabolism.

I use it daily in liquid form and as i feed a raw diet i add it to my dogs food instead of their water. If you check out the link below this is who i buy it from and it also explains the benefits of ACV etc....Cheers...Ian..

Here's another link on benefits of using it;
http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/acvfordogs.html

I heard that it's best to by the unpasturised stuff from health food shops or horse feed stores, since it has more of the nutritional benefits than the pasturised stuff sold in supermarkets.

I add a little to the final rinse when bathing my two, it's good for the coat and skin and cuts down on smells.

D'oh, just read Ian's link and it tells you all about the unpasturised stuff anyway....
Mental note; Must read links before posting the exact same info anyway!

Just thought I'd post where I buy Isla's tablets from:

http://www.simplysupplements.net/app...5cebf4d42722da

Be aware that some dogs will refuse to drink water with APV in it as they can smell it, which is the reason I put a tablet in Isla's food. One of my other dogs, Pickles, went to stay at my Sisters last year while I was at Crufts and he refused to drink the water as it had APV in it for their Bichon. He ended up with a UTI, which thankfully cleared on it's own after he drank about a whole days worth of water in an hour!
