Just had the worst fright

Just been up to the chemist to collect my prescription, (contraceptive pill) came back home and put it on the bed. Went to make a phone call, 10 minutes later i walk into the bedroom to find Minnie has ripped open the packaging, opened the pill packet and eaten the WHOLE thing 21 tablets in all. To say i panicked would be an understatement. I rang up the vet in hysterics and explained what had happened. Luckily they said she should be fine, maybe a bit sick but to keep an eye on her. Ive never been so worried in all my life Hopefully, she will be ok. Shes just sitting there now wagging her tail, obviously proud of herself Dont they just love to worry you!!!

OMG, what a naughty doggie , Leonie did a similar thing with my hormone tablets, they just made her a bit frisky (which is more than they do for me )

Hope everything turns out ok

Oh what a worry, & I don't envy you explaining why you need another prescription either.

Scarily, the exact same thing happened to us with our Golden. They were my sister's pills. The vet just laughed and told us the same as they told you. They didn't seem to have any effect at all on our Golden, hope its the same with your little girl.

Hope she's ok...what a lovely little face she has. Good job it was a Saturday and your mind could be put to rest straight away. I believe it is ibuprofen you have to be very careful of as they really knock dogs out.
