Good afternoon all. After a cold start, the day has warmed up nicely.

Gary is a lot better this morning. Still not fully right, but getting there thank heavens.

Missed tissues - ouch. Takes ages picking off the bits .

Moyra, I hope you feel better soon and that all your news is good news. Good luck xx

Hello, back from the docs. I have chronic anaemia. He wants me to go up the hospital to be checked over as he seems to think I am losing blood somewhere. Where I do not know?! So it is back on the iron tablets that give me indigestion of a sort. He says I should go to A and E if I feel very weak or tired. I told him I do not sleep well at night but get very tired during the day. I need to feel better!

Moyra, my dad has chronic anaemia and I am aneamic, our go told us no tea or coffee with meals but to drink orange juice as the vitamin c helps the body absorb iron from food...they never found my dad's bleed, he had the camera both ways and a pill can...nothing. Also have you had your b12checked? That gets affected sometimes too. I have an iron tablet every day and I just get an upset tummy and pains but I know I need it
Poor Casey having to be clipped but sometimes it's for the best
Been in the garden myself today... doing nothing lol, builder started at about 9which was lovely of him, stuck my iPod on but could still hear the noise... didn't matter as I was in the garden
Mum and dad have arrived in st Ives

Thanks Brenda that was useful. It seems I drink too much tea for starters! and do not eat enough red meat and such like.

They will most likely reduce the dose as your levels improve..dad was on 3 a day but he only has to have one every other day... hopefully they will do the trick and you will feel better soon
