We Sold!
Just to update you all, we have agreed a sale on our house this morning. The people who viewed on Saturday loved it and they don't have a property to sell (renting out existing property instead) - we are so chuffed.
It has only been on for about 3.5 - 4 weeks and it is the second time we have had an offer (first couple had a property to sell)
Now all we need is for Sid to get the job and it is Carlisle here we come.:smt026

Our last house we sold in less than 24hrs, put it this way the estate agent come out to value it, someone went in looking for a property she told them about our place, went to have a look and they made a cash offer there and then
Doesn't happen now mind cos of house prices in the area.

Staffy - that was brilliant, you don't often get it happening, but my colleague at work has done it twice!
She sold two properties that had just literally returned their contracts to us at the office, no board was up, the brochure hadn't even been typed!
Needless to say the vendors were chuffed
