Good Morning Dogsey Saturday

Early bird here as I am on low server power until 28th when My new allocation clocks in and when everyone gets online i cannot... ( does that make sense? ) Not sure what happened here yesterday as when i came on the daily thread was missing and a new member was seeking it desperately. ah well! Had a grand day yesterday; shopping till I all but dropped then to the Traditional Farms .. am working my way through the donut stand at Tesco and this week it was custard! My shopping bill has dropped since collie died...... Oh the tiny piglets! How they PLAY! lol! Have had a delicious breakfast of their home made bread, baked on the turf fire, and their hand churned farm butter.... catching up... wondrous news Eileen and hoping the proud father is not too overwhelmed..Gordon; I can do you a very professional Aran ( one r in aran!) sweater in your size and will cost you around E200... the ones you buy here are slave labour from Portugal.. every cent of that cost will go to the babies my family care for in India as does every cent i earn knitting... Love my work too,,, specialise in baby stuff Eileen! lol! Quiet day here today thankfully and hopefully..aching feet of course but worth it. Thank God for codeine.. One unpleasant task ahead; there was a loose fitting shock collar on one of the Irish wolfhounds there yesterday...am about to email the boss to ask WHY as they are the gentlest of dogs..Wish me luck... Have a lovely Saturday.. dry here and the wind has dropped.. came home yesterday to find my washing line had broken and had to climb steep banks to untangle sheets from barbed wire fences..lol!

Good morning Rosebud and all to follow later. Well we had some storm last night and it has made a real mess of my roses on my front border. Looks like pink and red confetti all the petals spread around. Lots of bits of trees boughs have fallen again out on the green. Rose, you sound as though you had a day of it yesterday. I hate that when the washing line goes astray and your washing needs doing all over again.

Well everyone hope we have a better day of it today, none too warm at the moment but comfortable for me.

June, I do hope you start to feel better soon, you really are going through it at the moment. Hope you get your car back soon.

Lynn, that is very scarey about poor Dillon's leg and paw. I do hope he gets it better soon.

Try and have a good day today everyone, God bless.

Good morning everyone. Bright and chilly today.
I hope everyone aches, pains and problems are a bit better today, both canine and ooman!
Yesterday I made a sponge to put in the freezer ready for when my friend visits. Now I have been making sponges for roughly 60 years but lately they have all been going wrong one way or another.
Yesterday as I tipped it out the tin it fell into a thousand pieces Today I have made a trifle
Well tomorrow is lunch day so I guess I had better get things sorted.

Griff I spoke to the tiler, he said for that money he could tile my kitchen all way round floor to ceiling, he said he charges by the meter and then adds for the grout & cement. He said my kitchen prob would cost £150. Hope that helps

Good morning

You seem to have had a very good day yesterday but a pity about the washing when you got home Rosebud. Know what you mean about internet speed when we lived at the kennels the speed was awful and we were paying for broadband unlimited but sometime you could cook a whole roast dinner before you could get connected on anything

Enjoy the trifle Nippy and good luck with your next sponge. I don't have much success with sponges they are always heavy but fruit cakes etc they disappear before they are cool

Hope you improve during the day Griff if not get yourself some help

Hope there tiler has arrive Mandy soon be back in your kitchen now.

Good morning Morya hope you are ok today.

Hi Suec it was quiet on here yesterday but we were here

Been busy this morning, washing done and about to iron it, Teazle walked, French beans picked, blanched and now in freezer and have also made myself a macaroni cheese ( will last me about 4 days) I am cheap to keep. Heavy rain and awful thunder etc. last night but at least I didn't have to water the garden

Have a good day and stay safe.

Been onto the garage, and not good news Still working on it, more than likely be ready Monday or late Monday. Will have to go shopping for bits and pieces on the bus. I slept till gone 9, girls had brekkie and tidied them up, back in bed with my brekkie and I will stay here till lunch, give them their lunch, skip out, then get the bus to the shops, so will get some rest
Griff, maybe you should steer clear of spicy stuff for a while to see if it makes a difference, like Casualty in here
Mandy Geranium and citronella tea lights sound gorgeous

Don't blame you NJ I love trifle, especially if made by someone else I'm not that good at cake making, I have made a fruitcake and it turned out quite good, lauryn is brill at cake making.
Hi suec wonder where we all went then?b

Tiler is here and busy, just made him a cuppa, looking good in there so far

Hubby has disappeared into town, he's been so grumpy since he came home yesterday moaning as if it's my fault that he's doesn't know what to eat because we have no cooker he'll come out of it no doubt
