Afternoon Rosebud, and sorry I missed you earlier, but you had snuck in there before my original reply first thing this morning and it was only when Jenny had mentioned you there that I went off to find you lol! Anyway, nice to see you today, your weather sounds awful again, but at least you're all snug indoors doing your knitting, keep warm.

Good Afternoon all. I have absolutely nothing of interest to relate.

After taking Bella out, wasted hours waiting to see Moneth's 'welfare' lady (who came an hour late). And Lucia my next neighbour was waiting too as I've got fed up seeing her in pain the past couple of months and was taking her to my private doc as the Gen Hosp is a waste of space.

Welfare lady just confirmed what I've been saying all along - she is a bullsh1tter - different tale for every day of the week. I have built in radar for people telling porkies! I'd need to feel a good bit mentally stronger to go into detail about all this.

The clinic we where referred to was 2 doors away where the GP is a gastro specialist. All going good there for Lucia and I take her for blood tests there at 9am tomorrow. Then to Pharmakeio for the meds. Then quick stop at Zorba's for food to take home as I still hadn't eaten and it was about 3pm by then.

So ... everything I needed to do today has been shelved and I've only got tomorrow now to clear up my boring stuff.

Bella is still superglued to the daybed! I still haven't done any work this week (but did email boss telling him I would not be doing anything until weekend) so the heat's off there.

It is really windy - I mean REALLY windy! I think I will have a cuppa coffee and run a tepid bath and doss in it with my Kindle! Or find some rubbish on the classic Turner Movies channel to watch.

Sending love to Lily's dangling foot. To all who have hospital appointments and poorly selves, kin and dogs.

I'm feeling like a need a holiday!

Well, the rain cleared and a sweet wild wind came to chase the nasty wee nibblers, so I managed over an hour in my new garden.,..Everything so late and small with the late cold spring and I will not and cannot buy plants so all is from seed. A couple of Sweet William showing colour but they were seedlings I had from last year

The dogs are kept firmly behind wire netting which collie cannot understand. She shadows my every move, tongue hanging out, whereas wee dog goes off to dig a hole etc,
Wee dog had a good puppyhood of course whereas collie had five years of lonely hell.

Then she sees CAT sneaking out of the house and the chase is on! I used to worry what would happen if collie actually caught the cats, but one day she cornered a cat by the door and cat just reached out a paw ( no claws) and biffed collie on the nose and collie just sat there...

Dratted right leg is throbbing with the bites,, I think it is the Raynaud's that is affecting healing. Cold compresses are grand though. Old age and thin skin!

OK; two pretty shocking pink hats done with crocheted white daisies all over them.. onwards once more..

Blessings and peace

Looks like we were lucky having last week in Ireland Rosebud. I've got a couple of bites on my shoulder from there. Mozzies probably came in the room at night with us having the window open.
Just got dried after our walk. It wasn't raining when I went out so I only put a little jacket on & ended up getting soaked.
Before we went out I soaked Taffs stag bar in marmite & he's getting stuck into it now.

Helena. Loads of things are 20% off at Dunelms & some bits 50%. I think my bits were 50% off the sale price they were that cheap.

Just catching up with all the drama.... better than any soap.

Dont take any more bullsh1t from those inadequate EA's , you would have thought they would be so happy you used them.

Very industrious the Helena, laying slabs now added to your endless CV

Hope everyone else is having a good afternoon, and the weather is not too bad. I am so fed up with it, please can we have some sun??

I spent most of yesterday putting my database onto this laptop, nearly lost it all but found it... But it still wont let me upload or is it download to the keep it safe for me cyber place

It is still dry but windy, so just going to take the dogs out and am thinking of nipping to a sale thats on tonight not far from me, mmmm might pick my sister up, for a nosy..... and just might pick up fish and chips to go with my very nice glass of red...

I find that a very sad time. Even if I didn't like the house much - it's a 'chapter over' if you know what I mean?

Put the doss about with Bella on hold. George just rang he wants to come round and pay me back the money he borrowed!

*quickly looks round to see if any outstanding DIY jobs - so he can work some of the debt off!

I'm SO tired now. As soon as he goes I am going to hit the sack.
