Take heart in the fact that you had the courage to give Cassie the greatest gift that anyone can give their dog - a peaceful, dignified leaving.

She will live on in your heart and your memories forever.

Aw Helena - it will be doing you good to chat about Cassie. I am glad to hear that Georgie has eaten and is having a wee sleep. Everything takes time. It will hurt just now but once that hurt goes, it will be lots better.

I haven't cried in a long time but I have done more crying today than I had back then! It is good for you to cry for a while, then you will find peace in your heart.

What lovely messages everyone has left here for you and that will be a comfort.

Take care and thinking of you, your Hubby and Georgie.

Helena I am so sorry for your loss.
Poor old Cass is at peace, her passing being painfree and with those she loved.

Who could ask for more, I hope mine is the same.

It's lovely to hear about her resting place. You spend whatever time you need there, and talk as much as you want.

We're all here for you.
