Hi everyone I just registered here,

I have a Springer X Staffy puppy just wondered if anyone else had this type of dog and can tell me a bit about them as I love him to bits just so I know how to make him an extra happy wee dog, also how big do you think he may grow? not that it matters but I have never seen this two breeds crossed before any pics of adult dogs this mix would be great x

He shouldn't get bigger than a springer.

He will have all the terrier traits as well as the springer traits - which ones, you will find out, whether they are good or bad - who knows.

I have a springer cross lab he is intelligent and ignorant - although I class that as his intelligence. He will need a lot of exercise as he grows and a lot of mental stimulation. And start his training now!

Welcome to Dogsey! Can't wait to see pictures of this dog, interesting cross.I'd imagine he'll get to medium size, around 25kilos but which of his parents does he most resemble?
Both breeds need early training and lots of it so off you go to a training class if there's one near you. It's good socialising practise and teaches a dog to pay attention to you in the distracting presence of other dogs.
