Hello from Texas!

Greetings all :] I haven't owned a dog in 4 or 5 years, and recently my roommate and I got a Great Dane puppy. We used to foster and transport dogs from the local pound to many rescues in the southwest. My last dog was a Dane, and previous to that I owned a pibble and a rottie. Before that my dog experience was more my parents' dogs, mostly Chihuahuas. This puppy feels a handful, as I don't remember puppies being THIS much work, from having had and trained others. Maybe because I'm more of an adult now (in mid thirties) or having had so many dogs, that I have different expectations? Anyways, here's obligatory puppy pic, say hello to Starfleet!
