I agree but don't think it will ever happen. There is too much money to be made from the selling of fireworks. The massive queue in Asda today just proved that. The likes of Asda, Morrisons, Sainsury's, Tesco etc have too much to lose by stopping the sale of these bombs.

I think the only way that the sale of fireworks would stop would be if, and God forbid it should happen, there was some sort of major incident with fireworks which involved injury and/or death. Even in the days of 'Standard fireworks' the number of injuries was too many, the bombs that are available today could easily cause death.

My poor puppy has really been tested today. It's been like Beirut here. What do they put in fireworks these days? Semtex? And the crap we've been picking up in our garden is ludicrous. I'm going to be writing to my MP tomorrow!!!
