Enjoy your evening out Griff, new dress always make you feel better
Lynn things sound really positive your way, if the works get done, one more Christmas won't bother you will it. Fingers are crossed that the flat sells soon
Brenda hope you are enjoying your book.

Me & Liam went out before Liam to take Rosie out for a run, enjoyed the nice fresh air & sunshine.
After dinner I watched Dirty Dancing, love that film. Now we watching Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince

a) how easy to let, is it the sort of place people want.
b) how many potential tennants on their books right now.
c) potential rent

All very good points and should help your neighbours decide if it's worth dropping the price of their Mums place.

Lot of things to juggle here but I can see how it would help you if they go ahead. I hope they do

Hope you enjoy it what ever sort of 'do' it is

Also thanks for the history of the Jag, and I sympathise with the you about the guy who said he could do it and then couldn't. In the 1980's I had a similar situation, wasn't a Jaguar 'tho but a sort of classic, tried several places but all let me down. One of them claimed to specialise in that make, did a bit of work on the engine, when I found it wasn't running right I had the air filter off and found they had forgotten to put the gasket back in between the air filter and the carburetter

Look forward to seeing the photos.

Hawkshead is in the lake district, Cumbria. Really lovely place. I stayed in Ambleside years ago.

Yes, lovely it is. My elder daughter lives towards the west side of Cumbria.
My only complaint is that it's so far from us in Bedfordshire.
The younger lives in Nottingham but it's still a two hour drive each way. Worse around bank holidays.
