Harvey - my deepest sympathies, glad to see you have adopted one of my survival tactics, though! Exit stage left/right mumbling something inaudible about will see to it now dear! Works every time - sometimes I'm out there - seeing to it, for hours! Whether it be drains/leaks/vermin/carol singers or campaining socialists this strategy truly is easily adapted to all.

Seems to me that if Ms Summers could come up with one of her gadgets that could buy a round of drinks and mow the lawn we'd probably be redundant. The truth as to men being simple is plain to see! They must be - they keep marrying women!

But it works Eileen dearest, that's the important thing, it works

Well must go now, good night to all, even down here we may have some snow tomorrow, although after ten plus years of 2 or 3 foot snow I don't think it will anything to worry about.

Evening everyone
We should have had a houseful of visitors, all food done, house tidied ect, my best friend came about 5pm, brother ect was expected 6.30 ish but the flipping snow came really heavy still we had a really good laugh anyway, ate too much food, Lauryn's friend came and joined us, she only lives on next street so no worries for her getting home.
Rosie had a right good time running round, catching snowballs lol

Glad you had a nice evening Mandy - even if the weather tried it's best to mess things up. Love the idea of Rosie in pursuit of snowballs, when as you so often say, she hates the wet weather! Must have had a dose of merry xmas on her!

should get to sleep really as we have the vets tomorrow.....deagan gets her stitches out....we managed to survive 10days!

We think same, when she came in she ran straight to her towel and looked at me to say 'dry me then, I'm cold'

Sounds like Rosie is very selective about the Type of wet lol at least you didn't have a lot of tidying up to do either Best of luck with Reagan tomorrow, I'm sure it will go well, and really glad your worst fears about your brother were never r/ealised, Griff. Gordon, the simple answer is Don't Get Married At All. I discovered this easy solution after walking away from the wreckage of a 2nd marriage. Instead I traded them in every few years for a newer model, until that palled as well. Now I live in blissful peace and suit myself instead of every other bggr

Griff - glad to hear that your survival strategy for Deagan has paid off and that brotherly upset wasn't incurred. Good luck with the vet's tomorrow. always a relief when one's pet is pronounced OK, and all proceedures finished! June - suiting yourself sounds fine to me - for in truth that's what I get away with most of the time. I lead a very unfettered existence, providing I'm watched (closely)! lol! Goodnight from me, as the boudoir awaits! See you tomorrow. Sweet dreams.
