New puppy in the house

Hi we have a rescue patterdale male almost 5 called charlie, we have recently rehomed a 10 week jrt female puppy. so far so good, our pattie is not at all food driven this little lady Dottie i think will be. she eats everything in front of her and yesterday stuck her head in Charlies bowl to start on his, he wasnt at all bothered.
what id like some advice with is when she is fully jabbed and able to go out for a walk their abilities and stamina are at totally other ends of the spectrum. should we give charlie his really big walk run first then take the two of them together for a little walk or vice versa. what do you advise.
the only thing he doesnt like is anyone picking her up like we do to take her out in the garden, he doesnt like any dog being picked up for some reason but doesnt mind himself being picked up
sorry for the long post and thanks for your help with this x

With my two I give the adult dog a big walk and then later in the day a little walk with puppy to socialise them. But I also do puppy solos for her training or she gets distracted by her pal!

With my pups I take the adults out for their normal long walk in the morning, then afterwards I take the pups out individually for socialisation.
I would recommend taking pup out on her own mostly, so that she does not become too dependant on your older dog.
