OK he won't keep his head still long enough for me to put the drops in. I'm afraid of hurting him. It's going to be a long 5 days.

Hi Laura as its a small dog it may help to sit on the floor with your legs stretched in front of you and the dog between your legs facing you (your legs can help secure the dog) . Give lots of praise and a tipbit...put the drops in then gently massage the ear and give lots of praise .The whole process should be one of pleasure. Also you could try putting the drops in just before a meal so the meal is a reward and the drops soon forgotten .
