Hi Eileen, that made me smile because SWMBO is exactly the same. I do wonder why 'tho, I mean, workmen are hardly likely to go round checking that there's no dust on the pictures or if the floor has been hoovered in fact they are probably going to make more mess than there would normally ever be in your Mums house.

Hi Harvey, you are right...doubt any workmen would be bothered, I used to have to crawl about in peoples cars and I tell you, some of those were like skips on wheels....empty pop bottles, crisp bags takeaway containers...not just the odd one but the whole rear footwalls and seats of a 4x4!!! I didn't ever think about it too much but I was curious about why it couldn't be put in the bin

What an excellent idea Eileen, whilst LG is caring devotedly for Lacey, you could pop by mine and we could go shopping or something, Trafford Centre only up the road
Well Harvey, you don't want someone going home to the wife and kids saying, OMG you wouldn't believe the state of the place I was working in today, wipe your feet on the way out more like!!!
Poor Rosie, wonder what she's picked up, have you any of the Canikur paste in or generic immodium to give her.

Sir, can I bring a touch of 'local knowledge' to this debate, having actually lived there for nearly two years (Port Moresby mainly but also Kieta & Mt. Hagen) I can confirm that there is an Irish Ex-Pat community there and many a glass of various Irish refreshments was downed by yours truly, usually resulting in my being late for work the following day

Not sure about now but back in those far off days there was a great camaradery with all ex pats of Irish, Scottish, Welsh or English descent and you are right cannabilism did still exist 'tho it was considered very bad form to cook an ex pat, just not done don't you know
