not very common in leos as a breed in whole, but one particular dog sired about 10 litters, and virtually all the dogs were cryptorchids

How old can the dog be whenthey emerge? Vito had none at 8 weeks. 1 at 12 weeks and both by 16 weeks, the vet did say this could happen. I was wondering if there's a certain age they should appear by if they're going to?

Well Merlin was a year when I had him and it didn't appear for a few years---although it did appear to be working somewhere!

We have a very succesful stud in our breed that is know to sire cryptorchid pups,

you're right, you shouldn't, but unfortunately, this doesnt stop some people, especially at £1000 stud fee!
