Where is the best dog friendly seaside that is easily reached from the Midlands? Last thing I want to do is end up in Blackpool or somewhere only to find signs for no dogs allowed.

Oof! 127 mi – about 2 hours 20 mins

A bit of a trek for an afternoon walkies. That's the trouble with being slap bang in the middle.

I see this is proving quite a challenge

One of these days I'm just gonna bite the bullet and do it. Roxy doesn't mind the car and is perfectly happy going with me to work for a 45 min journey. But 2-3 hours, well that's a challenge.

I'm sure she'd love the sea. She's not a keen swimmer, but likes a paddle as long as she can touch the bottom. I think she'd freak at the waves!
