Homing Requirements: Leo needs a family with large dog experience who can attend a training course and move forwards into life with him. Leo deserves a garden and a family with time to meet his needs and interests. Suitable for a family with older children providing Leo is trained to retain 4 paws on the ground when around them as he is a big clown!

His Story: Leo was handed into a pound. The staff loved him dearly but couldn't hold on much longer. We came forwards and offered him a rescue place in the ‘nick of time’. Leo was neutered and is fully vax'd.

Advert: Leo is a classic large dog who is still working through his puppy surplus energy and yet responds to direction. His enthusiasm is easily focused and channelled appropriately. A little bouncy on the lead but quickly settles. Kind nature and despite sometimes feeling desperate in kennels he has been managed. Not protective around food but a little eager within kennels. Leo needs to be out and about. He is an ambassador, a diplomat and a stunning model.

Leo is a large 'bear' of a dog, lionesque and extremely loveable. He wants to please and listens to command. He is still coming through from his puppy dog phase; large dogs can take 3 years to emerge ... he is emerging. Leo needs to be in a loving family. Leo would welcome support in learning and will become brilliance itself ... watch him shine!
