I am so sorry that you have lost your good friend Sonic . Nothing can describe how awful it is when they go but many of us on here know exactly how awful it is. ((hugs)) to you.

HUGS it is so hard when they go but there love and what they have taught us will be with us for the rest of our lives, they live on with us in our hearts.

You need to grieve, grieving is a healing process so we have happy memories of our loved ones.

Deb - I'm so sorry for you loss. It's so difficult to cope with losing our dogs. I lost my girl on boxing day 2011 and I still fill up when I catch a photograph of her. Like you, I gave her a good life and when the time was right I gave her a good death and the depth of grief you feel at this moment is completely in line with the depth of love you felt for your dog. It will get easier and you'll remember the wonderful times you had together.
